  I worked with bank of england during my home search, applied for the preapproval letter and revealed my personal info to them in order to make the process more easy and smooth. Their loan banker won't tell you the exact number of their rate but keep pulling your credit without notifying you. It ended up showing 4 hard pulls by them during four months. They won't let me know the best rate they have, but keep changing rate from different banker in their system, banker, banker's boss, banker's boss's boss. Until I find a good lender who is honest from the beginning, they say they will match whatever others offer. Don't know what to say to them. The lending process with my current lender was not that good, because I spent a great amount of time explaining the 4 hard pulls from Bank of England (they shown as Funding STE, Funding Suite, I don't know what are they in the first place). If you have options, don't go with them.
